The Burning Book

For a while it was fine,
Ice was in the midst of the mind,
And words were flowing rivers.

The turn of a page
Brings chaos uphill,
And blaze up the raging will.

Set to fire
Did I,
Those words
That meant not a thing.

Amber and scarlet,
And pale azure.
They devoured
the spilled out ink.

In the turn of a second,
All thoughts were vanquished,
All emotions tranquilized.

If memory dislikes
the ashen face,
Let it rejuvenate,
From the embers
Of the burning book.

Why?why did you promise? to be there for me when u dont even remember the promise you made to me.

Scared ...

Scared of the distance Scared of the darkness Scared as the winds blow straight to my face. Scared at the whims  of my own fantasy. Scared of all around me. Scared as I lie alone, Scared of the strange noises blaring inside my head. Scared darling, I too, was of losing you. And all the scares came futile, as scare engulfed me in its depths.
